The masala chicken is a dish of Indian or Pakistani origin. Masala chicken is a dish that originated in India and Pakistan. It has become popular in the West. Ingredients of masala chicken:
1: chicken meat 1 kg
2: oil 1/2 cup
3: onions (cut into slices) 3 nos
4: curry leaves 1/2 cup
5: salt to taste
6: coriander 1 cup (finely chopped)
7: ginger 2 inch piece
8: garlic cloves 6-8 nos
9: rye 3/4 tea spoons
10: ground black chilies 1 teaspoon
11: red chili powder 1 tablespoon
12: coriander powder 3 tablespoons
13: turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
14: coconut (grated) 1/2 cup
15: poppy seeds 1 tablespoon
Method of masala chicken:
1: Soak the chicken meat in lukewarm water for a while with a pinch of salt.
2: Remove the meat from lukewarm water and wash it well.
3: Grind ginger, garlic, rye, cumin and black chillies together.
4: Mix red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and 1/4 cup of water.
5: Grind the grated coconut and poppy seeds into a fine paste.
6: Heat oil in a saucepan, add onion and fry until golden brown.
7: After adding curry leaves and salt, add ginger-garlic paste to it.
8: Add turmeric powder-red chili powder paste and fry for 2-4 minutes, then add meat and fry for another 5 minutes.
9: Add tomatoes and one and a half cups of water and cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
10: When the meat is melted, add coconut and poppy seeds paste and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Sprinkle coriander and remove from heat and serve with naan.

1: 2 cups fresh yogurt.
2: cups mint leaves, chopped
3: cumin seeds, ground and roasted
4: teaspoon black salt
5: teaspoon sugar
6: salt to taste

1: Combine all ingredients in a bowl
2: Mix very well
3: Refrigerate until chilled
4: Serve cold
